Hannah Pysto’s work, while most heavily informed by Shiatsu, is an amalgamation of principles of Thai Bodywork, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Reiki, Tui Na, and Qi Gong. Her skill set includes cupping, gua sha (also known as Graston Technique), and Somatics. Her work is intentional, subtle and deeply penetrating. The depth of her work is not the conventional “deep tissue massage,” but deeply embedded in the organization of the meridians and fascia.
In conjunction with her work, Hannah often prescribes therapeutic Shiatsu postures, self mobility exercises and myofascial stretches in order to help each individual take an active role in their own healing.
Each session is highly individual, tailored to each client’s needs and goals. It is Hannah’s primary aim to facilitate healing, integration, and holistic wellness.
