Joshua “Iosua” Palmer, LMT, brings a thoughtful and curious approach to massage therapy, drawing from a range of techniques to help clients move and feel better in their bodies. Originally from the redwood country of Northern California, he has made a home here in Southern Oregon, where he enjoys practicing massage and tending land.
Iosua’s work incorporates myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques, and detailed work with muscles and connective tissue. He also draws from Swedish massage to help clients settle into a session and transition gradually out of deeper therapeutic work. Breath and body awareness are often part of his approach, helping clients relax, tune in, and participate in the changes taking place during a session.
An avid student of bodywork, Iosua continues to expand his skills through continuing education. His recent areas of study include intra-oral work, pelvic and hip stabilization, and treatment approaches for whiplash and other injury-related conditions. He enjoys combining what he learns with careful attention to each individual, adapting his sessions to what a client’s body needs that day.
Outside of massage, Iosua enjoys spending time outdoors, stewarding land with friends and loved ones, foraging, making herbal preparations, and deepening his connection with his Polish and Irish roots. He also loves making music, especially playing guitar and handpan with friends.
